OUR SERVICES.
Assessment
The assessment takes 40-60min and goes through discussing the injury and your history (activities, limitations, successes), a physical assessment, and a treatment. At the end you can expect to have an explanation of your limitations/pain and suggestions and exercises for home use. Remember, an assessment is meant not only for reducing pain and discomfort, BUT to identifying weakness to improve your performance before the pain starts.
Treatment
The treatment takes 20-30 minutes and goes through a small re-assessment, hands-on treatment and a progression of exercises. You can expect to leave with a change in your symptoms and ways to manage the symptoms or movement limitations. See below for the different hands-on treatments we do!
Mobility Class
The mobility classes are meant for groups 5-20 in an open space for 45-120 minutes. They go through an explanation of anatomy and stretching, mobility routines for different muscles and their accompanying strength exercise. These can be modified to meet the needs of your group (ex. classes for desk workers, cross fitters, shoulders, low back, etc.)

WHAT PHYSIOTHERAPISTS DO.
Release it.
Needle it.
Mobilize it.
Stretch it.
Cup it.
Understand it.
Strengthen it.
The most important part of physiotherapy is the work you are sent home with. You spend 30 minutes per week with us and have the rest of the 167.5 hours per week on your own. This means the work you do will have a very profound impact on your recovery.
The best thing a physiotherapist can offer you is the BEST exercises to manage the pain, strengthen your weakness and ensure those limitations return.
